4/29/2019 | Talent hits a target no one else can hit. ...

Accepting the holistic andbalanced distribution of various components of the curriculum, creativeactivities, sports and games, form an integral part of education. Theseactivities are the medium through which the principles of Honesty, Truth,Cooperation, Self reliance and the importance of each child is highlighted andthe fullest development of the personality of students is made possible.

Sports Activity

4/29/2019 | “Only he who can see the invisible can do the impossible.”

Gamesand sports are an integral part of a student’s life. A studentshould study hard to be successful in competitive examinations. But, he shouldalso play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigor of life.

Along with bookish learning, a student should spend histime on games and sports. There are many people who give importanceonly to bookish knowledge. Indeed, there is often no provision for gamesat all.

Inclusion of games in thecurriculum of studies is, therefore, very important in modern times. ‘All workand no play makes Jack a dull boy’. We want Jack to become a bright young man.So, we must make games and sports not optional but compulsory in education atall levels, so that approach to it may be sincere, not casual.

Competitions

4/29/2019 | ROLE OF COMPETITION

Education and competition are two universal ingredients ofall humancultures, in fact, of almost all animal life. Humans have always considerededucation and competition important issues, both in the past and in thepresent. Of course, there have been fluctuations in emphasis and much has changedthroughout the centuries. The role of competitions in education, especially inmodern education. Then I trace some developments in the role of competitionswithin education. The roots of education lie hidden in an unknown past; those ofcompetition are even less traceable. Children spontaneously seek competitionwith their peers. They seem to have an innate desire to compare themselves withothers in every way.
