  • Admission is open to the wards of defence services personnel. However 10% of the total number of students can be admitted from the local civilian population.

  • c) Students seeking admission are to register themselves with the school by 1st March every year.
  • d) The class to which a child can be admitted is decided solely on the basis of admission test and Principal’s interview. The school reserves the right to refuse admission to any pupil without assigning reasons.
  • e) Certificate pertaining to the child’s birth/transfer certificate and father’s part” order regarding date of birth is to be submitted during admission.
  • f) The transfer certificate should be duly countersigned by District Education Officer for schools other then Army Public Schools.
  • g) Every year the academic session begins on 1st April.

Subjects for Admission Test

The admission test will be held in the following subjects:-

Issue of the transfer Certificate

Parents requesting for transfer certificate of their children should submit their application together with clearance certificate duly completed to the school office at least seven days in advance.

Issue of Various Types of Certificate

Parent's request in the principal's signature on various types of certificates should submit the certificate/applications three days in advance. Parents are requested not to insist on issue of certificate on the spot. the school office is open on all working days from 10.a.m to 1.00 pm.

Evaluation/Promotion/Pass Percentage and reports

  • 1. Regular and continuous assessment of the child's performance in and out of the classroom is reported to parents/guardian in writing. For promotion student's work throughout the year as well as the performance in all the term examinations are taken in to account.
  • 2. In class I to X a student must obtain not less than Grade D, in each semester, for promotion.
  • 3. In class XI students should obtain not less then 33% marks in each subject for promotion.
  • 4. In class XI a student failing in one or two subjects by not more than 5% will be eligible to take a supplementary examination in the failing subjects and will be promoted to the next higher class subjected to his /her passing in the examination.
  • 5. In the supplementary examination a pupil must get a minimum 33% to be declared pass in class XI.

  • Note: Unit test will be held during zero period and regular teaching will continue during these days. For class XI evaluation will be as per rules of the CBSE.
  • (b) The academic year has been divided in to two semesters. Each semester consist of two formative and one summative Assessment. The Assessment will be as per rules of the CBSE.
  • (c) Promotion (Class XI)
  • Promotion will be granted on the basis of the year's performance in Unit Test, Half Yearly Examination, Annual Examination 7 Internal Assessment.
  • If a student fails to appear in Half Yearly Examination or periodical test on genuine grounds, he/she may be allowed proportionate credit for such test.
  • If a student fails to appear in Annual Examination due to any reason, he/ she will be deemed to have failed in the Annual Examination and shall not be promoted to next class.
  • However, if the absence in the annual examination is due to reason beyond control, he/she will have to take supplementary examination on orders by the Principal.

RULES OF ABSENCE AND ATTENDANCE

Normally no leave of absence will be sanctioned, but for an important or unavoidable reasons, parents must get the leave application sanctioned in advance. If it is not possible to apply in advance, parents are requested to send the leave application duly signed by them next day when the child attends the school.

Absent without any genuine reason and without prior sanction will be treated as an act of indiscipline and the name of child is liable to be struck off the roll on account of more than 10 days absence without leave application or intimation of absence. To be eligible for the annual examination a child must have 75% attendance to his/her credit.

COURSES OF STUDIES UP TO CLASS X

The medium of instruction in English with Hindi as second language. The course of studies up to class X provides for a general, all round development and examines the students in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Social Studies (Civics, Economics, History and Geography), Art Education, Physical and Health Education. 'IT' a compulsory vocational subject has been inducted for class IX/X.

We have a very simple and convenient process of registration as we believe in simplicity and less time taking process of admission.

Our registration process starts from January till July of every year.

Candidate selection is done on the basis of first come and first serve.

First priority is given to Defence students and on the basis of father/mother rank in the Army, Air Force and Navy.

We have classes from Nursery to Senior Secondary.

In senior secondary we have two streams Science and Commerce.

For any entrance there is need to qualify the admission test and then selection is done.
